Shock Servicing

Shock Servicing vs.
Shock Tuning

Shock servicing focuses on restoring proper function and reliability.
While tuning modifies how a shock performs, servicing ensures the shock operates correctly, consistently, and safely.

Servicing is recommended as routine maintenance or when performance degrades due to wear, contamination, or leaks.

Standard Shock Service Includes:

  • Complete shock tear-down

  • Inspection of all internal and external components

  • Internal parts cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner

  • New seals installed

  • Fresh oil

  • Shock shaft polishing (if required)

  • Reassembly, vacuum bleeding, and nitrogen charge

  • Final inspection before return

Shocks should be pressure washed prior to arrival or shipping to the shop.

Over time, oil breakdown, seal wear, heat cycles, and contamination all affect shock performance — even when no obvious issues are present. Regular servicing helps maintain ride quality, control, and durability across all types of use, from daily driving to trail riding and racing.
